Comprehensive Exams
We work hard to create a comfortable and stress-free experience for you and your family. We will do what it takes to help every patient understand his or her symptoms and treatment options in a relaxed office setting.
Your general dental visit will begin with a thorough dental examination, which may include a full mouth x-ray. Dr. Forest will examine the health of your teeth and underlying jaw structure to ensure everything looks in order. During the dental examination, a Mint Dental hygienist will examine each tooth for cavities, plaque, and other damage using a small pick and mirror.

Professional Cleanings
The second part of your dental visit will consist of a complete dental cleaning conducted by one of our professional dental hygienists. Even the most thorough hygiene-dedicated patients, who brush and floss regularly, will not always achieve the same results as a deep cleaning from one of our dental hygienists.
We recommend adults brush their teeth three times per day and floss once daily. However, the reality is that the average person brushes twice per day and rarely flosses. Therefore, attending your bi-annual visit is vastly important to your dental health.
Dr. Forest and her team of professional dental hygienists are committed to providing our guests with outstanding and personalized oral health care tailored to your unique dental needs.

Preventative Care
Preventative dental care begins with the cooperative effort between patient and dentist to prevent the onset, progress, and recurrence of dental diseases and conditions.
Preventative dental care is the best defense for some of the most common dental problems. However, even the most thorough dental hygiene regime cannot avoid some dental issues. During your routine dental examination, your dentist or hygienist may recommend fluoride treatments and X-rays to stay on top of your oral health.

Root Canals
These common and simple procedures can save your tooth and your smile. In adult teeth, the purpose of tooth nerves is to sense heat, cold, and other stimuli. However, decay or infection in the tooth pulp can cause intense pain and result in a possible root canal procedure.
You may think receiving a root canal treatment means you will feel extensive amounts of discomfort or pain. However, our doctors go above and beyond to ensure our patients feel comfortable and at ease during their root canal procedure by using dentistry sedation.
Mint Dental regularly performs root canal endodontic treatments to remove infections and save our patients’ teeth. We are the experts at successfully completing these procedures where our patients can experience the utmost comfort.

TMJ
Temporomandibular Joint Disorder (TMJ) is a condition that affects the joint connecting your jaw to your skull. With TMJ, you will often feel pain or discomfort in your jaw, have problems opening your mouth or trouble chewing, experience your jaw popping, and more.
Causes of TMJ can include grinding or clenching your teeth, arthritis in the joint, and even stress. During your visit, your dentist will assess the issue and possible causes of your TMJ and develop a solution for you.
There is no reason you should put up with jaw pain, headaches, or damage to your teeth any longer. Is it time to start on your path of a TMJ treatment plan?
